This course aims to provide contemporary information about contemporary management techniques used by enterprises to provide a sustainable competitive advantage. Basic subjects to be taught in the course are the business environment, organizational structure and culture management, innovation and entrepreneurship, decision making and planning.
BUSE 503 Economics for Managers
In this course, microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts are examined from the aspect of business management. Consumer and firm theory, market structure and regulations are covered in microeconomic analysis. Within the scope of macroeconomic analysis, basic macroeconomic concepts, indicators, and their interpretation in terms of business management, economic policies and their possible results are studied.
BUSE 505 Research Methods for Business Management
The main objective of this course is to introduce statistical tools and to provide them with a variety of applications that illustrate their use as decision support elements in business management. In this context, explorer and finder analysis, causality tests, grouping, and dimension reduction analyze and the necessary statistical tools are taught with the use of statistical package programs.

In this course, the basic principles of marketing, new concepts in marketing, marketing planning, and management, marketing strategies, marketing information system, consumer behavior, sales, and advertising are discussed.

In this course, basic financial decisions and applications to solve the basic elements of financial management and financial problems in enterprises are discussed within the framework of financial management, investment decisions, and financial markets. Within this framework, traditional financial products and new approaches of the 21st century will be examined.
BUSE 506 Accounting Management
In this course, the basic concepts of accounting and the balance sheet and income statement accounts within the framework of the uniform chart of accounts are examined and the accounting records and basic financial statements are discussed. Within the scope of financial accounting, issues such as registration, correction of accounts and preparation of financial statements, closing the accounting cycle and internal account control are examined.

BUSE 555 Brand Management
This course focuses on what the brand is by showing its difference from the product, why it is important, its meaning for consumers and the strategies to be developed to manage it correctly. It also includes identity and image information on how brand value is created and perceived. Brand management practices and various brand simulations and case studies are also evaluated.

In this course, the importance of financial institutions and markets is emphasized and the students gain general knowledge and understanding in this field.
BUSE 571 International Trade and Financial Systems
In this course, both nations and firms in the international economy will be examined. The central theme of the course is to understand the economic causes and consequences of globalization, both from the perspective of nations and that of firms. In recent years, it became clear that the performance of firms in international trade is among others influenced by the organizational structures of firms. Firm and country performance are of course also determined by the international economic organizations, such as the WTO and the IMF/WB. The role of these organizations and their impact on such variables as trade volumes, capital markets, and exchange rates, as well as their role in financial crises will also be discussed.

In this course, entrepreneurship is examined and discussed in all its dimensions. In this context, entrepreneurship is revealed with many examples and practices, especially in the innovation perspective of the 21st century while the characteristics of the entrepreneur is examined in terms of small, medium and large business dimensions in terms of historical process.
